2026-2027 Board of Trustees Nomination & Election Process
Board service is a sacred service that promotes both the vitality and longevity of the church, and seeks to honor the creative spirit in each Board of Trustees member. Potential Board Members must be a member of Unity of Mesa for at least one year before they are able to apply to be a part of our Board of Trustees. Each year, Unity of Mesa elects two new members to the Board of Trustees as two previous members roll off our Board team. Our Board of Trustees serves for three consecutive years with the opportunity to re-apply for a second term when it is in alignment for both Unity of Mesa and the BOT member. Unity of Mesa has been governed by the Carver Model of Governance for over a decade. Applicants do not need to be familiar with this model to apply, as we hold a training for our newest Board Members in January of each year.
