The Energy of Money
Dive deeper into Sunday's talks and Maria Nemeth's book, "The Energy of Money: A Spiritual Guide to Personal and Financial Fulfillment" with Rev. Judy for a virtual book study.
In the book The Energy of Money, money is described as an uncomfortable subject for most of us. So, lets dive into the uncomfortable right away this year and get over it. 😊 Maria Nemeth writes: “We love money, and we hate it. We can’t live with it, and we can’t live without it. Money can be a source of great joy and creativity, or it can bring frustration and misery . . . Money touches almost every aspect of living, work, leisure time, creative activities, home, family, and spiritual pursuits.”
“Every dream and vision we have is intertwined with the possibilities and pitfalls bound up in the energy of money. . . Our relationship with money calls us to wake up, to see how we are handling ALL kinds of energy – not only money, but time, physical vitality, enjoyment, creativity and the support of friends – and to use those lessons to enrich every aspect of our lives.” And so, we say yes to this spiritual journey, this pilgrimage on a path towards the gateway to abundance. You are invited to ‘stay the path’ with us. Join this community pilgrimage, AKA this hero’s journey, where we will be invited to depart from normal patterns, to enter into unknown experiences that hold fear, mysteries, foes, and mentors, where new understandings unfold, and mastery of new perspectives and skills emerges. |

Dismantling Racism: First Steps Toward Action
We have all been touched by what is happening in our world community. We may even question where Spirit is in all of this.
It's time for us to have deeper conversations about race and implicit bias.
It's time for us to have deeper conversations about race and implicit bias.
Being a White AllyWhile racism takes many forms and affects many people in this country, this curriculum focuses on the specific issues facing Black and African-Americans and what we can do (particularly as White people) to dismantle racist systems that oppress them. (While our work will focus on racism as it relates to Black Americans, we know that Black Americans are not the only people who experience racism and are impacted by racial inequity.)

Every Friday on Facebook & YouTube
Unity calls the Bible a textbook but what does that mean? Whose story has it recorded, are they true, and why would the book be relevant to our lives today? Rev. Kathy hosts these 5 minute talks exploring, questioning, and reclaiming meaning from the text historically, socially, and spiritually. This is not designed to be a scholarly discourse but a genuine search for meaning and understanding. Check in with Unity of Mesa’s Facebook page or YouTube channel every Friday for a new installment. |
