What is an intergenerational event?
How is it different from a multigenerational, or simply a YFM/youth event?

“Intergenerational” includes multi generations, AND it’s also an opportunity for connections to occur between the generations. We’ve seen some really heart-warming moments between our young people and our older ones at our events. A sense of belonging is created and everyone benefits. We each have much to share from our different perspectives in life – whether we’re just starting out fresh, somewhere in the amazing middle, or bursting with a lifetime of experience. YFM hosts intergenerational events not only for fun, but for this special purpose. We love having all generations involved, whether actively participating, helping out with setting up, taking photos to share, serving food, or simply being a supportive presence. It’s a fun and meaningful way to build our commUnity!
